The beautiful texture of a common puffball Lycoperdon perlatum.

Delicate bonnet fungi growing from oak – possibly Mycena galopus

Coral or clavarioid fungi – possibly Ramaria stricta or upright coral. 

The beautiful but poisonous white domecap Leucocybe connata.

Hoof fungus Fomes fomentarius at the base of a mature oak.

Beefsteak fungus Fistulina hepatica growing at the base of an oak. Allegedly edible!

Chicken of the woods or sulphur fungus Laetiporus sulphureus fruiting in the split of a fallen sweet chestnut. Allegedly edible!

Unidentified miniature fungus growing on dead ash. Each stem is less than 5mm. Any thoughts?
